David Albertelli

David Albertelli is a talented entrepreneur and real estate professional based in Jacksonville, Florida. He has over twenty years of experience in engineering and construction management. Currently, he is the President of Albertelli Construction.

David Albertelli is a visionary leader who laid the foundation for firm expansion through strategic structuring of processes, spearheading branding initiatives, overseeing website development, and facilitating software procurement. With a focus on cultivating client relationships and ensuring robust P&L management, he successfully hired and supervised up to 60 payroll employees and numerous contracted laborers. Under his guidance, Alberterlli Construction evolved from a small residential developer into a multifaceted firm boasting over $100 million in annual revenue. 

David Albertelli‘s adept negotiation skills were showcased in securing a deal with the city of Palm Desert to develop a Quiksilver-branded surf resort encompassing over 500 hotel rooms and villas, along with extensive resort, entertainment, and activity spaces spread across 70 acres. During the Great Recession, Albertelli successfully pivoted the company’s focus by securing new clients such as the U.S. Navy and entering the commercial development market, developing 21 stores for Dollar General and AT&T. Notably, his strategic initiatives included securing the first multifamily development in Tulsa in 2010, which led to the development of 12 additional sister complexes across multiple states, totaling over $200 million in budget and comprising over 4,000 units.

Before his time at Albertelli Construction, David Albertelli worked for The Stellar Group as their Vice President. In this role, he oversaw their end-to-end project execution, which included conceptual design, procurement, and development. He worked with the company for over a decade before founding his own company.

Other roles David Albertelli has held include Division Manager and Senior Project Manager. Both roles helped teach David about the importance of leadership alongside basic business practices. Some of the skills he’s mastered include site selection, scheduling, budgeting, safety planning, risk management, renovation, sustainability, and permitting. David Albertelli‘s professional career began at Villanova University. Here, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Following his graduation in 1994, David continued his education at Jacksonville University. This time, he earned his master’s in business administration (MBA). However, as a serial entrepreneur, David’s education continued. He’s earned several certifications and licenses over the years, including becoming a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E. – Florida), LEED Accredited Professional (AP), and an Unlimited Mechanical Contractor (Ohio/Florida).

Over the years, David Albertelli has had the opportunity to work on several real estate projects. His experience includes work with multifamily homes, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, renovation, and conversion. For example, two of the conversion projects David worked on were to turn hotels into multifamily units. 

One of David Albertelli’s biggest passions in life is learning and finding new ways to challenge himself. He’s always looking to learn new skills or perfect different talents. He’s experimented with everything from self-learning to taking classes – and sometimes even taking risks.
